Treasure Nile slot

Fans of the popular Egyptian theme who are looking to make some serious cash will undoubtedly appreciate Microgaming. They have not one, but two progressive jackpot slots which both sport the ancient theme of Pharaohs, holy creatures and mysterious symbols. Treasure Nile is one of these slots, which simultaneously has a very classic look that we remember from old school land based slot machines. The classic look is to be expected, because this golden oldie has been around for quite some years. To be precise, the slot was launched all the way back in 2014, and his since gained a lot of popularity. For this slot, Microgaming has chosen to offer nine paylines, and an equal amount of coins to bet. This is a two-way slot, meaning that normal winning combinations pay out from both left to right, as right to left.

Treasure Nile progressive jackpot

Treasure Nile offers one progressive jackpot. In similar fashion to another Micrograming jackpot slot, Major Millions, the jackpot can be won by hitting five of the qualifying symbol on one payline. The only qualifying symbol is the Pharaoh symbol, which is displayed as a gold and blue sarcophagus mask which was commonly used in Ancient Egypt when burying Pharaos. The only qualifying betline is line 9, which starts of with the bottom two rows of reel one and two, followed by the the middle row on reel three, and the top two rows of reel four and five. Additionally you must be betting on max bet, so nine coins per spin, in order to qualify for the progressive jackpot.

Wilds and Scatters in Treasure Nile

We all know that a jackpot slot would not be complete without some other fun features. Simply playing, waiting to hit the jackpot, without any other options would not be very entertaining. The two extra features this slot offers are Wild symbols, displayed as the Pyramid symbol, and Scatter symbols which are displayed as the Scarab symbol. If this isn’t your first rodeo, you know what Wild symbols are. If not, they will be your new best friend. Wild symbols can be compared to a Joker in other games, as it can substitute all other symbols. (Except for the Scatter symbol). For example, if two snake symbols and a Wild symbol appear on a line, the Wild symbol will substitute as a snake and therefore complete a winning combination. Also note that the Wild symbol can not complete the progressive jackpot win, which can only be a combination of five Pharaoh symbols. Scatter wins are multiplied by the total amount of credits you bet that round, meaning the highest multiplier will be 9. The payout for Scatters is 5 credits for three symbols, 10 credits for 4 Scatter symbols and 50 credits for 5 Scatter symbols. Both Scatter and Bonus wins are added to any regular wins made.
